How I got here
A degree in why people do what they do
I graduated from UCLA with a degree in Psychobiology.
Tech sales and marketing
I started at Park Place Technologies, then joined the growth teams at Matillion and Satori, two fast-growing software companies. At Satori I designed the outbound sales process and took email open rates from 20% to 55%. At CYGNVS I built the marketing campaigns and ran the discovery calls that got us into conversations with Fortune 500 companies. Along the way I met with dozens of executives and helped close more than $1 million a year in contracts. What stuck with me: reply within five minutes, or you rarely hear from that person again. And people buy from people they like. A salesperson who knows less will beat a gruff contractor who knows more.
Richey Consulting
I started building websites and running ads for local businesses in Colorado Springs. For a CPA firm, $5,000 in Google Ads brought 43 conversions.
CrestStone Concrete
I opened my own concrete company to run the system with my own money. I handle the ads, the sales calls and the quotes myself. The first pour came 16 days after the first lead. In the first 90 days, about $18,000 in ads signed $284,485 in jobs. Through September 30 it has signed $425,962 in work.
Steady Pours
Richey Consulting now works with concrete contractors only, as Steady Pours. A good concrete company doesn't need more calls. It needs a schedule of pours that go well, at prices good enough to keep growing. Getting a contractor more calls without fixing how they answer, follow up and sell is pouring water into a leaky bucket. I build the ads, the website and the follow-up for one concrete contractor in each market, and I show you my own numbers before you spend a dollar.
